installed on the landscape in 2024. Depending on funding amounts, there may be enough to fund an additional project.

- The Oneida County Conservation & UW-Extension Education (CUW) Committee approves/denies all projects based on the project's contribution to water quality protection.
- Installed practices must remain in place for 10 years and are subject to site visits as determined by the Land and Water Conservation Department.

Cost Share Program Brochure A Grant Reimbursement Program Click on the brochure cover for a look at the program brochure. Each Cost Share project is completely unique. Construction plans are designed specifically for each landowner and meet strict state and county specifications. To qualify for reimbursement of any project year costs (50% of the total project cost or the current year's cap amount, whichever is less), landowners must follow design plans and construction must be Engineer, LWCD, and CUW Committee approved upon completion. |

Project Ranking Form
Oftentimes, we don't have enough cost share funding to provide money to all those who apply for the program. The form below assists us in prioritizing which projects Oneida County can partially fund. Click on the button below to take a look at how we do that.

Deposit
Agreement |
A project deposit is required to enroll in the Cost Share program and must be submitted before design work begins. Engineered practices such as rock riprap; enviroloc bags, and curlex blocs, etc., require a $1,000 deposit. Non-engineered practices, such as native plantings and rain gardens, require a $500 deposit.

Sample Construction Plan
All construction plans are designed by the Oneida County Conservationist and our DATCP Engineer. Plans follow state recognized standards and projects are overseen by the Oneida County Land and Water Conservation Department from initial site visit to sign off. Additionally, LWCD performs follow-up visits on completed projects as staffing allows.

(O&M) Agreement Samples
Operation and Maintenance Agreements are a required document in the Cost Share Program. O & M's are tailored for each unique project and outline the 10-year commitment and site visits as needed between the landowner and the county.
