This contest is open to all students in 4th through 8th grades.

Details:

There are four poster divisions:
(1) Grade 4, (2) Grade 5, (3) Grade 6, and (4) Grades 7 & 8.

Entries MUST be received by Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 4:00 p.m.
 
Poster entries (with entry forms taped to the back) may be dropped off at any designated drop-off location, or mailed to: Oneida County LWCD, Attention: Invasive Species Poster Contest, Courthouse, 1 South Oneida Avenue,  P O Box 400, Rhinelander  WI  54501.  (Do not fold entries)

Our poster contest is directly advertised
to ​schools in 18 counties!

Get Your Friends Together and WIN!

  • Winners are chosen in four divisions: (1) Grade 4; (2) Grade 5;  (3) Grade 6; & (4) Grade 7/8.
  • Students in each division compete for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Trophies, Honorable Mention and Best Slogan Ribbons and one Best of Show Ribbon.
  • Each 1st place winner’s class wins too! A local invasive Species Team representative can visit your classroom (subject to teacher approval and coordination) to present individual student awards and a Classroom Trophy.
  • Each 1st place winner’s school receives a field guide for their school library.
  • Participating teachers have a chance to win one of THREE $25 gift cards.
