2022-03 - Lake Nokomis
Estimated Cost: $50,000.00 to $78,000.00
This project is on the landscape with work having been done on 260 feet of lake frontage.
The following photos were taken on October 30, 2023 officially closing the project for this site.
2022-02 - Wisconsin River - Phase II
Estimated Cost: $43,667.00
This project was designed in the early summer of 2023. Construction Plans were drawn to extend the previous work that was done in Phase I (220 feet) of the project. Phase II will protect the remaining 200 feet. You can see photos from Phase I on the 2022 Completed Projects page.

2022-01 - Lake Nokomis
Estimated Cost: $25,000.00
This project was completed and on the landscape in 2023. Project consisted of timber wall and wood platform removal, the addition of 100' of vegetated rock rip rap and a 6-foot planting buffer behind the rip rap.
This project was completed in October, 2023 with total project costs listed at $34,602.01.
2021-03 - Sand Lake
Estimated Cost: $13,769.00
NOTE: This project was moved into 2023 as it became too late in the season to get plantings in before the cold weather set in.
This project consists of the construction of 100 feet of Subsurface Drain and Underground Outlet, seeding and construction site stabilization in an area showing severe signs of erosion. The primary focus is to protect and prevent sediment from leaving the area of concern and entering the lake.
Project was completed in July, 2023. Total project cost was $15,055.70
2021-04 - Lake Nokomis
Estimated Cost: $26,714.08
NOTE: The rock rip rap portion was originally hoped to be completed before the end of 2022; however, that portion of the project was scheduled to be installed in the spring of 2023 with the plantings moved to the spring in 2023.
Rock rip rap was recommended with possible soil-filled bags on top of the rock. One hundred feet of frontage was restored. Parallel decking and the timber wall was removed. Native vegetation was planted 6 feet deep at the top of the hill.
