Work on some of the following projects began in the Spring of 2019. Only the Wisconsin River Project has been completed. The other projects show photos of each property, but work is delayed due to the pandemic. These projects are scheuled to be completed in 2021.

Cost Share Project
Cost Share Project
Root Wads were cut and placed on the property. Most were roughly 10-12 feet in length not including the root wad. Each one was chain sawed to a point for easier installation. Click on each photo to make it larger.
They were installed at the river's edge in October of 2019. Some were inserted horizontally and some were pushed in vertically. Once in place, they were secured. Click on each of the photos to make them larger.
Root wads and rock rip rap were completed in the Fall of 2019. Please note that the bag wall was not part of the original cost share design. The homeowner wanted additional protection for the river bank and he and the contractor constructed the wall outside of the cost share program. Native plantings will be installed in the Summer of 2020 to complete the cost share project. See where those plantings will go by clicking the PLANTINGS button.
